Getting a tattoo can be a strange experience. I understand firsthand that getting a tattoo is a potentially very vulnerable thing to undergo. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where I am actively listening to your ideas, feedback, and concerns, always respecting your autonomy. I encourage an open dialogue and clear communication to ensure we're aligned throughout the process.

I do not discriminate against anyone I work with under any circumstance. Who I choose to work with and what I tattoo will always be based on what I feel aligns with my abilities and whether or not we can agree on a shared vision. That being said, if you're a bigot or a cop, get lost.

This strange practice is the love of my life and I am honored to be where I am today. It means the world to have some of you join me on the ride. I hope to see you soon.

FAQ

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my appointment?

Yes, a $100 deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the tattoo or the final session for long-term projects. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if given 24 hours' notice. If you don't provide enough notice or fail to show up, your deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit is needed to reschedule. There or exceptions to this such as emergencies or health complications but this is on a case by case basis.

How much will my tattoo cost?

The cost depends on factors like size, complexity, and placement. While I try to accommodate budgets, projects requiring more than your comfortable budget will need to be discussed to find the right path forward.

How does your pricing work?

I know pricing can be confusing, I’ll do my best to breakdown how I do mine and I am always happy to do my best to work with anyone's budget. This does not alway guarantee that we can find a good compromise but I often find that something can be worked out.

Minimum rate: $400 (2 hours)

Half-day rate: $700 (4 hours)

Full-day rate: $1,200 (8 hours)

I only charge for the time spent tattooing and don’t charge for breaks, stenciling, making slight changes to the design, etc. I find charging a flat rate gives peace of mind knowing exactly what the session will cost with no guess-work or watching of the clock by either of us. This can potentially mean your tattoo will need to be broken up into multiple sessions depending on your budget, I promise it will be worth it in the end.

What is the aftercare process for my tattoo?

I often recommend a less-is-more approach to aftercare. I recommend washing the tattoo only once or twice a day unless it has come into contact with anything unsanitary. For soap I recommend a simple antibacterial with no scent or dye. If you have been sweating or doing any strenuous activity you can give it a brief rinse with water. Always let the tattoo air dry after washing. Do not put any form of moisturizer on the tattoo until two days after the session. Apply very thin layers with no residue left on the area. I recommend either coconut oil or a basic lotion for sensitive skin. I do not recommend Aquaphor or petroleum based products. Allowing the tattoo to dry out at times is okay and can be beneficial to the skin regenerating itself. avoid direct sunlight or submerging in water for at least two weeks.

- For padded bandages or saran wrap keep the bandage on overnight, remove and wash with soap the following morning and do not re-bandage.

- For Saniderm or other similar products you can leave the bandage on until the following night before going to bed. Do not leave on for multiple days. I recommend removing the bandage with room temp or cold water running over it and massaging soap around the edges of the bandage and then pull from the bottom of the bandage. If you’ve ever used a command hook it’s exactly like that. Wash the area with soap and do not re-bandage. If you notice redness developing outside of the bandaged area I recommend removing it as you may be experiencing a reaction the the adhesive.
